Auto Sort
"Sort settings" let you automatically update product order by combining conditions such as sales and inventory. The result is saved as a manual order after sorting, so it does not update automatically as conditions change. To refresh the order, run it again or set up a recurring schedule as described below.
Sort Conditions (partial list)
- Sales / revenue / units sold
- Inventory quantity / variant availability rate
- Price / discount rate / discount amount
- Creation date (newest first) / updated date (newest first) / published date
- Name (A-Z) / vendor / product type / tag
Sort Layers
You can stack multiple conditions as "layers" with priority ordering. Products tied on the main layer are ranked by the next layer (tiebreaker). Ascending or descending direction can be set per condition.
- Each layer can have its own aggregation period (in days)
- An order tag filter limits sales aggregation to orders with a specific tag
- A product tag filter limits sorting to products with a specific tag
- The "move out-of-stock products to the end" option automatically pushes out-of-stock items to the bottom
Scheduled Execution
Once conditions are configured, enabling scheduled execution runs the sort automatically at the specified frequency and time.
- Frequency: choose from hourly, every 6 hours, daily, weekly, or monthly
- For weekly, specify the day of the week; for monthly, specify the date
- You can also specify the execution time and timezone
Combining with Pinning
By pinning specific products in advance, their position is preserved even when auto sort runs. This is useful for products you always want to keep in a specific position.
