Can I sort automated collections?
No, sorting is only available for manual collections. Automated collections, where products are determined by conditions, are not supported.
Should I use manual sorting or CSV bulk edit?
For a small number of products or fine adjustments, drag-and-drop or position number input is simpler. For sorting hundreds or thousands of products, downloading a CSV and editing it in Excel is more efficient.
If conditions change after running auto sort, does the order update automatically?
No, once auto sort runs, the result is saved as the manual order at that time. It does not update automatically as sales or inventory change, so run it again or set up scheduled execution to keep it current.
What happens to pinned products?
Pinned products keep their position even when auto sort runs. This is useful for products you always want to keep near the top (or at any specific position).
Technical
Which columns are required for CSV upload?
A position column and either a handle (product handle) or title column to identify each product.
Is there a limit on how many collections can be registered in a bulk sort template?
Yes, the number of managed collections has a plan-based limit. See the pricing page for details. There is also a safety limit on the number of products per collection.
Can one collection belong to multiple templates?
No, each collection can belong to only one template at a time.

What's the difference between plans?
Plans differ in the maximum number of products supported in the upload template and the number of collections you can manage (i.e., register in a bulk sort template). See the pricing page for details.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes, you can change plans at any time from the plan selection screen within the app.
